Have you ever wondered why your dog is barking, acting fearful or lunging on the leash?
ADT's Free Dog Behavior Evaluation will help you find out if your dog is experiencing a behavior problem and provide solutions and training options. Learning why your dog is doing something will help you change your dog's behavior. ADT will explain what behaviors and signals your dog is displaying and what those signals indicate in your dog's evaluation. Classification of Behavior Problems ADT utilizes science-based theory of canine learning and social behavior to properly evaluate your dog's behavior. Humans are similar, yet distinctly different social animals. Dogs absolutely experience emotions ranging from excitement to fearfulness, however dogs are not capable of "complex reasoning" unique to humans. This understanding allows us to practice behavioral protocols and learning methods that the dog can understand and apply. Take the Evaluation:
Enroll & Gain Expected Results Dogs presenting with obedience-based problems, dogs who are young, and dogs with very low or moderate behavioral problems can be readily helped in our Behavior Training Board & Train program. Dogs experiencing severe aggression behavior problems with biting, fighting, food possession, or resource guarding are not able to attend our program due to liability limitations. Severe aggression includes bites that required medial care, attacks on owners/kids, dogs demonstrating aggression in many areas, or older dogs that have not not received training previously. ADT combines reliable obedience with specific behavioral protocols to decrease behavior problems and provide you with an increased level of control through specific and dependable obedience commands, both on the leash and off the leash for added reliability. The skills taught in each of our programs prepares you to implement well-timed training exercises, which will help you succeed in reducing your dog's behavior problems. With our help you can successfully prevent and reduce fear, anxiety, dominance, possession, and other destructive or dangerous behaviors confidently and continuously. Requirements & Restrictions Accurate and specific information will help our trainers to better identify solutions for your dog's behavior. Trainers may request more information to complete the assessment as behaviors are complex. We are not required to report past dog bites and appreciate honest and accurate form responses. While striving to help all dogs in great need, we prioritize the safety of our staff and clients first and foremost. Each dog is evaluated on a case by case basis and may be excluded due to size, age, severity of aggression or type of aggression. |
