Refresher Training for Life
Training with Appalachian Dog Training, LLC is a lifetime investment! We maintain a lifetime of value with our support.
Private Lesson Program: Many clients enjoy the benefit of a refresher lesson for themselves, and can request an appointment to do so. We also offer support through phone and email. There is no charge for your first refresher lesson. After your free refresher lesson, there is an $89 per lesson fee.
Board and Train Program: After completion of a Board and Train Program, we provide support by offering refresher training. We offer support through phone and email consult in addition to hands on training.
Refresher training is available for you plus your dog in a one-on-one lesson. There is no charge for your first refresher lesson. After your free refresher lesson, there is an $89 per refresher lesson fee. This lesson will be much like your graduation training lesson and include help in areas needed.
Refresher training is also available in a Board & Train format. WE DO NOT PROVIDE HOLIDAY/VACATION BOARDING. The sole purpose of this program is to provide refresher training for your completed training program. This is subject to availability. Training is not conducted on weekends, national holidays, or our scheduled vacation weeks which occur in the spring, summer and over Christmas/New Years. We offer limited drop off/pick up appointments which are Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10:00 Am only. The Refresher Training fee is $300 per week. One week minimum is required.
Service Dogs: Service Dogs complete 1-2 years of training and are required to attend Refresher Training once per year for the first 3 years after graduation. Service Dogs are welcome to attend annual training after the first three years but are not required to do so. This helps to ensure you, as a handler, are receiving the best continued support for the lifetime partnership with your service dog. This also ensures any minor changes with task training can be addressed. We are also very bonded to your service dog and take pride in knowing your partnership is maintained to the highest level.
